When importing data from Zap Data Hub into HandiLedger, you may see errors such as:
Error: The following value(s) already exist:
Client_Id = xxx, FiscalYearEnd = xxxxError: A record is not unique in file:
Client_Id = xxx, FiscalYearEnd = xxxx (Table = x, Index = x, Position = x)
These errors occur when HandiLedger detects duplicate records in its internal tables.
The resolution is to rebuild the data within HandiLedger.
Resolve duplicate value errors in HandiLedger
1. Rebuild the HandiLedger client data
HandiLedger often resolves these errors by rebuilding the ledger data file.
Follow the normal HandiLedger rebuild procedure for the affected client.
2. Retry the import from Zap Data Hub
After the rebuild is complete, run the import again.
In most cases, the duplicate key error will no longer appear.
If the error persists
1. Collect supporting information
Provide the following to support:
A screenshot of the error message
Details of the affected client
Year(s) being imported
Any recent changes in HandiLedger or Zap Data Hub
2. Raise a support case
Attach all supporting information
