Zap Data Hub - Change the type of data imported into HandiLedger

Switch the HandiLedger import style between Net movement (default) and Full trial balance by updating a parameter in the data source and then processing the model.

Zap Data Hub can import data into HandiLedger using two methods:

  • Net Movement (default)

  • Full Trial Balance

If your HandiLedger import is incorrectly showing Full Trial Balance instead of Net Movement, a parameter in Zap Data Hub needs to be updated.

Update the HandiLedger import type

  1. Click the folder ellipsis icon.

  2. In Resource Explorer, expand Public, then expand Access Accountant Solution.

  3. Double-click the blue Access Accountant Solution item.

  4. Select your data source, for example, MYOB Essentials.

  5. Click the Parameters tab.

  6. Locate LedgerTBSummarySourceType in the Name column.

  7. In the Value field, enter your preferred import type:

    • 0 = Net Movement

    • 1 = Full Trial Balance

  8. Click the Save icon in the top-right corner.

📌Note: Repeat these steps for any other data sources that require the same update.

Apply the changes

To ensure the new import type is applied, run a manual process of the HandiSoft Solution. Once processing is complete, the import behaviour in HandiLedger will reflect the new setting.
