Zap Data Hub imports accounting data from MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks. You can then import this data into HandiLedger as either a full trial balance or net movement, depending on your configuration.
Import and post data
In HandiLedger, go to Tools, then select Import from Zap Data Hub.
Select the clients you want to import, then choose the financial year or years to be imported.
Click Download to retrieve the selected clients from Zap Data Hub.
In the upper pane, locate the Reference column, then click the ellipsis button.
Select the appropriate client reference code, then click Save.
In the lower pane, review the Hs Acct column and confirm that the correct HandiLedger account numbers are selected. Use the ellipsis button to assign or correct account numbers where needed, then click Save.
Post the imported transactions:
To post a single client, highlight the client and click Post.
To post multiple clients, tick the checkboxes and click Post selected.
If a previous posting needs to be reversed, click Unpost.
Click Close when finished.
Additional information
The Refreshed column shows the last time your Accountant Solution was successfully processed in Zap Data Hub.
If the data appears outdated, process the Accountant Solution in Zap Data Hub before attempting another import.
