Zap Data Hub – Use the filter function in reports

Apply advanced filtering to limit report results, such as filtering staff by units worked and productivity

Filters in Zap Data Hub allow you to refine report results based on specific criteria.
This is helpful when analysing performance metrics—such as filtering staff by units worked or productivity percentage in the Staff Chargeable Productivity Report.

Below is an example of how to apply multiple filter conditions.

How to apply filters to a report

1. Open the filter options

  1. Right‑click the Staff dimension under Rows

  2. Select Set

  3. Select Filter

2. Add the first condition

  1. In the Condition field, drag Units Worked from the column area into the field

  2. Hover your mouse next to the inserted value to open the operator menu

  3. Select > (greater than)

  4. Enter 5000 in the field that appears

This filters out any staff with fewer than 5000 units worked.

3. Add the second condition

  1. Hover next to the 5000 value and select And

  2. Drag Chargeable/Worked % from the column area into the Condition field

  3. Hover to open the operator menu again

  4. Select >

  5. Enter 0.5 (50%)

This filters out staff with more than 5000 units worked but less than 50% chargeable productivity.

4. Apply the filter

  1. Click Apply

  2. The report will now display only staff who:

    • Worked more than 5000 units, and

    • Have a Chargeable/Worked % greater than 50%
