Zap Data Hub - Select multiple entities on a dashboard or report

Enable multi‑select slicers so dashboards and reports can show combined data for multiple entities.

Zap Data Hub can be opened in two views:

  • Consumer view - view dashboards and reports.

  • Designer view - create, modify and delete resources.

📌Note: To enable multi-select entity slicers, you must use Designer view.

Enable entity multi-selection

  1. If you are in Consumer view, click the vertical lines icon, then select Designer.

  2. Open Resource Explorer and select the dashboard or report you want to update.

  3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon on the right-hand side.

  4. Select the Cube tab.

  5. Under Dashboard slicers, right-click the slicer you want to modify, go to Slicer type, then select Multi-select.

  6. Return to the dashboard or report.

  7. Tick multiple entities in the entity slicer to populate the combined data.
